L. Julius Bursio, 85 BC. Denarius (Silver, 21 mm, 4.06 g, 8 h), Rome. Laureate, winged, and draped bust of Apollo Vejovis to right; behind, trident and turtle. Rev. L•IVLI•BVRSIO Victory driving galloping quadriga to right, holding reins in her left hand and wreath in her right; above, LV. Babelon (Julia) 5. Crawford 352/1a. RBW 1347 var. (differing control mark). Sydenham 728. Rare with turtle on the obverse. A few scratches and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about very fine.
